A project was carried out with the aim of understanding the dynamic response of the head-neck complex to projectile impacts on a helmet capable of preventing penetration. The entire head-neck complex of the human was modeled at the neuro-musculo-skeletal level, and an algorithm was developed to simulate the dynamic response to shots received from any direction, with projectiles of varying mass and speed.
