A project was carried out consisting of modeling the femur-tibia-patella assembly after the placement of prostheses in a total knee arthroplasty (TKA), and simulating the flexion and extension movement of the knee to determine the trajectory of the patella and the pressure on it during the movement. To validate the modeling and simulation, a sensorized test bench was constructed to reproduce the assembly (see references [23] and [24] in the Publications section).
